What our customers borrow for. Homes, storefronts, office buildings, tractors, cattle, payroll, and a credit card balance EveryBank inherited from people it has never met. See the credit report from Perry's desk.
What our customers don't do. Leave, mostly. Deposits have grown eight quarters in a row.
A note on the typical customer. Divide EveryBank's deposits by its accounts and you get $27,307 an account. Hardly anyone has that. 99 accounts in 100 hold $250,000 or less, and they average $12,393. The hundredth averages $1.5 million and holds more than half the money. The Median would like the Mean to stop quoting $27,307 at parties.
